About this blog

This is blog documents the experiences and insights of the Tasmanian victim- survivor community after the findings of the Tasmanian Commission of Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in Government Institutions. It seeks to raise awareness of the ongoing challenges and encourage wider conversations across the community.

Each victim is on their own unique journey so this blog does not presume to speak for everyone. Victims are invited to add their comments so that we can all better appreciate how CSA effects people in different ways.

We acknowledge the bravery of all those who gave evidence to the COI and mourn those victims who succumbed to the trauma of sexual abuse encountered in childhood.
