After a stalemate that has existed since the National Redress Scheme was implemented, States and Territories have finally agreed to financially underwrite the financial compensation of victim-survivors of child sexual abuse associated with sports.

This ABC news article notes that at least 50 sports-related redress applications have been unactionable until now.

State, territory and federal ministers are to finalise arrangements mid- 2025!
